From the state of New Mexico, raised about 20 miles from the Texas line, Will grew up with the sounds of Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, George Strait, and Brooks and Dunn blaring through the speakers of his dad’s pickup. This made a huge impact in shaping the sound of Banister’s songs. The lyrics along with the fiddle and steel in Will’s music will have you reminiscing about the days of country radio in the 1990’s, while still sounding fresh with today’s sound.

Will has been burning up the Texas highways paying his dues for the last several years with a professional touring band, composed of versatile musicians that have toured with many recording artists in Texas Red Dirt, and Nashville Top 40 groups. When venturing abroad, he has successfully completed 8 tours in the UK/England, including support for Reba McEntire at Wembley Stadium in London. Over 100,000 fans have made their way to Will’s Facebook page.

He is the quintessential American Country artist, incredible singer and songwriter. Will has a great team surrounding him including, award winning songwriter, Roger Springer who has written songs for Mark Chesnutt, George Strait, Clay Walker, Sammy Kershaw and many others.
