Welcome to Wallace Weekend Players!

The Wallace Theater, in collaboration with the Texas Tech School of Theatre & Dance, is excited to bring this new bi-monthly workshop series titled "Shakespeare Goes Social" to the students of Hockley County!

Enter into the rich world of theatre arts, with a unique twist—we’re integrating modern social media elements into the timeless works of William Shakespeare.

Each workshop spans two Saturdays. The cost is $10 per workshop, or students can attend all five workshops for a discounted rate of $45. Scholarships are available in limited numbers, and students must submit an application to be considered.

Wallace Weekend Player’s workshop times are 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM each of the dates listed below.

February 15th & 22nd
Vlogs: Lights, Camera, Monologue!

March 1st & 8th
Fashionistas: Elizabethan Influencers and Epic Hauls

March 29th & April 5th
Shakespeare’s Worlds: Design Your Own Insta-Worthy Sets

April 12th & 19th
Stage Moves: Choreographing Your Scene Like a Pro

April 26th & May 3rd
Epic Battles and Dance-Offs: Stage Combat
