The Wallace Theater is headed to Middle school for camp this Summer with "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical!"

Middle school, ugh. It’s the worst. But Greg is determined not to be at the bottom of the popularity chart. He’ll leave that to his weird neighbor, Fregley. Or maybe Greg’s best friend, Rowley Jefferson. But it’s not going to be Greg…no way.                                                                                                                   
Jeff Kinney’s popular character takes center stage as Greg’s cartoon diary becomes a hilarious and heartfelt musical. Will Greg’s plans to become popular lead him to sacrifice his one true friend? Can anyone avoid the dreaded Cheese Touch? Grab a hall pass and don’t be late for an adventure familiar to anyone who actually survived middle school.

Let your camper step into Greg’s world and bring this hilarious and heartfelt story to life on stage!

Cost: $300 *Early Bird Pricing Sign-Up: $250 until May 1, 2025

Ages: 11 to 18 (This camp requires that students are a rising 6th grader, no exceptions.) 

Location: 823 Houston, Wallace Theater

Date: June 9 - 22, 2025

Time: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. (Drop-off is between 8:45- 9 a.m. and pick-up is between 4- 4:15 p.m.)

• This is an in-person 10 Day Camp June 9th - 13th and 16th -20th
  (9:00am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday each week)

• Final performances will be June 20th @ 6:00pm, June 21st @ 6:00pm, & June 22nd at 2:30pm.

If your camper is cast as a lead, they must be available for all performances.
