Alycyn Keeling- Executive Director
Alycyn Keeling is the Executive Director of the Wallace Theater. She grew up in Levelland and attended Texas A&M University, receiving a degree in Business Management. Upon graduation, she moved to Washington, DC and served at the U.S. Department of Education during the George W. Bush Administration. Following the Administration, she became a Project Manager for Margaret Spellings & Company, an education policy and consulting firm. In January of 2014 she moved to Dallas and began to work for George W. Bush Presidential Center as a Special Projects Manager where she helped develop and coordinate a conference for all University Presidents in Texas. She also worked on the development and implementation of the Presidential Leadership Scholars Program which is a partnership between the George W. Bush Presidential Center, The Clinton Foundation, The LBJ Foundation and The George H.W. Bush Foundation.
Alycyn currently serves on the Board of the League of Historic American Theaters, The Lubbock Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and is a member of the 2022-2023 Texas Tech University Education Policy Fellowship Cohort. She is a former President of the Levelland Noon Rotary Club, was a founding member of Bill’s Backpacks, an organization that provides food for children in need outside of school hours, and has been a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Leading Women Educators. Previously she served on the board of the Levelland Main Street Program, the Texas Tech University School of Art Medici Circle raising money for art student scholarships and co-chair of the 2018 5x7 Gala, the Hockley County Endowment, and the Texas A&M University Young Alumni Advisory Council.
Jolenna carter- Experience & OPerations Director
Jolenna Carter is the Experience and Operations Director of the Wallace Theater. She is a highly organized and dedicated Administrative Professional with a background in restaurant operations/ management, graphic design, social media management, marketing, office procedures, and accounting.
As she grew up, her passion revolved around music education and performance. Following college, she discovered a new love for the hospitality industry and the impact she could have on people and their experiences. With twelve years of experience managing and overseeing operations in numerous restaurants, she felt a calling beyond this. The chance for personal and professional growth presented itself through a position at the Wallace Theater.
She is thrilled about the opportunities the Wallace Theater offers the community. As a mother of two, nothing brings her more joy than being part of a community that aims to establish a legacy for future generations.
Tina Wiiest- Administrative Coordinator
Tina Wiiest is the Business Manager at the Wallace Theater and also an Insurance Agent with George R. Keeling Insurance Agency in downtown Levelland. Having grown up in the Midwest via Indiana and Nebraska, she developed a passion for business and the office atmosphere. Tina would spend her summers in Indiana working part-time for a motel and fell in love with interacting with people.
After completing her high school education, she pursued a degree in Business Administration with Management from Grand Island College (formerly Spencer School of Business). After graduation, Tina started her career in the hotel industry as a front desk clerk which led to a management position with two sister hotels. Over the years, she has gained valuable experience in management and organization.
In 2010, she and her family moved to Levelland. In her free time, Tina enjoys reading and watching the latest blockbusters and Hallmark movies. She is a hardworking, dedicated, and enthusiastic individual who is always willing to learn and grow.
Tina believes in what we are doing here at the Wallace Theater. She loves giving back to the community and making a positive impact in people’s lives.
Arlette silva- administrative assistant
Arlette Silva is the Administrative Assistant at the Wallace Theater. She has assisted in multiple Wallace Theater programs, including Weekend Players, the Green Room, and as a Summer Camp Counselor. She’s spent the past few years working as a paraprofessional and substitute teacher for Levelland ISD. Her commitment to the students of Levelland continues to grow. She loves to share the importance of education and art with students.
Arlette spent over eight years in Austin before moving back home. While in Austin she learned how to craft her film photography skills and even self-published a photography book called “West Ave”, it showcases her love, and back then, homesickness, for Levelland. She also has a deep love for writing and hopes to one day complete her novel and bring her characters to life.
Arlette is currently a sophomore at UTEP University where she is currently working on a bachelor’s degree in business.
