Program Testimonials:
Testimonials from Current Presenters:
Shannon from New Mexico said, “In life, people often experience events that change the direction of our future, but we rarely have the opportunity to confirm our purpose. Generation Ziglar is life-affirming. It reminds us of our greater calling to serve a world that desperately needs leaders. It equips participants with the skills, drive, and focus to see the world through a lens of possibility, rather than a lens of doubt.” Since her Generation Ziglar experience, Shannon is currently working on her PhD in Agriculture Leadership at Texas A&M University.
Brandon from Oklahoma participated in the program and now presents the Generation Ziglar material two to three times per week in schools across Oklahoma.
Jacey from Lubbock, TX. Jacey said, “I love Generation Ziglar! Most of all, I love people and doing my best to help them be successful!” Since her Generation Ziglar experience, Jacey has presented the material at the Wallace Theater, Cooper ISD, Texas Tech, and Laura Bush Middle School in Midland, TX.
After his experience in the Generation Ziglar training course, Evan from Colorado said, “I walked into the Ziglar office as a regular freshman in high school, but walked out with more confidence in myself, an increased ability for speaking, and a drive to go out and teach others in my community. Generation Ziglar has impacted me immensely. I will be forever grateful for my opportunity.” Since his Generation Ziglar experience, Evan has presented the Ziglar module on Self-Image to over 300 middle-school students and rocked it!
Testimonials from students who have participated in classes where this material was presented:
Cecilia was a participant in the 2018 Inaugural Gen-Z Class hosted at the Wallace Theater for Levelland Middle School students. She talked about the impact that the relationships class had on her. Students were challenged to pick up their phone and send a text to someone telling them how much they appreciated them. Cecilia said, “I was surprised by the varied responses I received. One response said, “What’s wrong with you?”. Another response, “You made my day. I needed to hear that today and I am grateful for your friendship.”” Cecilia realized from the first response she didn’t spend enough time telling those she cared about how much she appreciated them. The second response encouraged her. This activity changed Cecilia’s mindset on how she approaches and manages her relationships.
Chloe Kay’s mother told us how pleased she was with her daughter’s participation in the program. She had been a fan of Zig Ziglar’s motivational speeches and books and had wished she had the opportunity to learn this content when she was younger. She said, “My daughter now comes home and asks me how my day was. She engages in conversation at the dinner table and I see her paying more attention to her homework.” These actions started after Chloe Kay started the Gen-Z program.
Caleb is a 7th grade boy. He is a good student but struggles with his self-image. After participating in the self-image class he came home beaming telling his mom about the activity where the kids are challenged to write what they think of others on a piece of paper. The kids are unaware of who wrote each comment, but Caleb learned the value of self-esteem when he discovered that his peers truly respected him. At the class graduation ceremony, he got up to speak about the lessons he learned about healthy relationships, how to pick good friends, and be a good friend.
