MALLORY FLORES (Esmeralda) Mallory is originally from Spring Branch, TX, but has spent the last 13 years in and around the Lubbock area. In 2012, she graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with a B.S. in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. In 2017, she received an M.S. in Speech- Language Pathology. She is currently a Speech and Language Pathologist for a pediatric therapy clinic in Lubbock. Mallory began acting and singing at a very young age, and has performed locally in a variety of musicals such as “Les Misérables”, “Grease”, “Annie”, “Elf The Musical”, “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas”, and, most recently, as the Beggar Woman in The Wallace Theater’s production of “Sweeney Todd”. Mallory loves being able to tell stories through singing and is excited to join The Wallace for another outstanding production.
KEEGAN PECK (Captain Phoebus) Keegan was born and raised in Midland, TX. In 2010, he received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University and a B.A. in Engineering from Lubbock Christian University. In 2013, he received an M.S. in Leadership from Lubbock Christian University. He started performing in college and has performed in musicals such as “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Guys and Dolls,” “Oklahoma,” “Les Misérables,” “Grease,” “The Music Man,” “Singin’ in the Rain,” “The Wizard of Oz,” “Elf: The Musical,” and “The Little Mermaid.” Keegan is the lead vocalist of the “The Keegan Peck Quartet” and has released two singles and an album featuring talented local musicians. He works as an engineer at EPI Communications Consultants.
ALEJANDRO HERNANDEZ (Clopin Trouillefou) - Alejandro Hernandez is an entertainer of all sorts from the West Texas area. Having been involved in many areas of entertainment from acting and music to puppeteering and stunt work, it’s safe to say Alejandro is an avid performer. He got his first taste of the limelight playing the guitar in the church band with his grandparents, Gumecindo and Guadalupe Hernandez, at five years old. Since then, Alejandro sought any and every opportunity to get on stage.
Alejandro attended West Texas A&M University and studied Musical Theatre Performance before coming back to Lubbock and integrating himself into the local theatre scene. From Lubbock Moonlight Musicals to the Cactus Theater, Alejandro has performed in many, many productions. Some of his favorites include “You Can’t Take It With You” by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman in the role of Ed Carmichael, “Barefoot in the Park” by Neil Simon in the role of Paul Bratter, and “Into the Woods” by Stephen Sondheim in the role of the Big Bad Wolf.
In 2016, Alejandro semi-retired from stage acting to pursue a career in playing live music at Louie Louie’s Dueling Piano Bar. Though he did not play the piano when he signed on, Alejandro’s dedication to the craft gave him the drive to learn as much as he could. However, he says he is indebted to the incredible musicians that pushed him to be the best he could and took the time to teach him everything he knows or could possibly want to know about live music.
Recently, Alejandro has been keeping busy since getting back into acting and joining the Wallace for their inaugural musical production of “Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street”. He also lent his comedic chops to the roles of James Cagney at the LHUCA Firehouse for the Wallace’s showing of “Shakespeare In Hollywood” and Rusty Nail in the CATS Playhouse Melodrama in the Park “The Treasure of Shiver River, or It’s Hard to Steer Cattle When Their Horns Are Frozen.” Alejandro says that he is incredibly humbled to join the Wallace once again for one of his favorite musicals and some of his favorite people. He assures, it won’t be the last.
TRAVIS BURGE (Quasimodo) This is Burge’s second production with The Wallace Theater, and he is very excited to be fulfilling a dream role with this production as Quasimodo. Burge is a veteran Musical Theatre actor, director, and educator. He studied Musical Theatre Performance at Wayland Baptist University and Texas Tech University. He studied ballet for 6 years with Ballet Lubbock under Yvonne Racz-Key. Burge now serves as Director of LCT’s Horizon School of the Arts with Lubbock Community Theatre, a College Preparatory Theatre Program for high school students. Burge has performed with several local and regional theatre companies. Favorite Credits include: Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Enjolras in Les Miserables, Shrek in Shrek the Musical, Phantom in Phantom of the Opera, Jaime in The Last Five Years, and most recently Beadle Bamford in the Wallace’s Sweeney Todd. Directorial credits include: Beauty and the Beast Jr., Into the Woods Jr., Shrek Jr., How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, High School Musical, Godspell, Descendants the Musical, Assistant Director of TTU Opera Theatre's The Merry Widow, and is currently directing an upcoming production of Freaky Friday the Musical with Lubbock Community Theatre.
DANTZ DEBUSK (Jehan Frollo/Congregation member) Dantz was introduced to theatre in middle school a little over 10 years ago and has loved it ever since. He found that acting was his favorite artistic way to express himself and continues to pursue it. He graduated from Pampa Texas in 2016 and moved to California to attend the American Academy of Dramatic arts. He later became apart of a theatre in North Hollywood called Loft Ensemble and was apart of many productions over the course of 4 years. His favorite and most meaningful role was playing “Brooks Brown” in “The Columbine Project” He says this role changed him as a performer but more importantly as a person. The stories of everyone involved, meeting the person he played and the cast and crew will always have a special place in his heart. Since moving back to Lubbock he has been apart of two shows with the Lubbock Community Theatre. A Musical called “Descendants” where he played a nutty chemistry professor named “Maurice” and a play called “The 39 Steps” which is a comedic twist on the Alfred Hitchcock movie of the same name. He played the role of “Richard Hannay” and says he loved every minute of it. He wants to thank the director of “The 39 Steps” Patrick for allowing him to be apart and collaborate with such an amazing team and artists. Dantz is extremely excited to be apart of the production “The Hunchback of Norte Dame” After seeing the musical “Sweeney Todd” at the Wallace Theatre he knew he had to be apart in any way he could. He was so excited and very happy to have been apart of the Wallace’s production “Shakespeare in Hollywood” The level of professionalism and artists he got to collaborate with was everything he hoped for. He also wants to thank his family for their support, his middle school director Lou Lindsey for introducing him to theatre and his high school director Matthew Prather for inspiring him to always pursue acting.
