CHASE GIBSON (Dom Claude Frollo) Born and raised in Lubbock, Texas, Chase is an actor and artist with the start of his career spanning back ten years ago. Fresh out of Monterey Highschool, he was hired to direct two separate musicals, “Les Miserables” and “Into the Woods” with Frenship Highschool. Soon after, Chase auditioned for local professional shows and began attending classes for Commercial Music at South Plains College. Throughout his time in college, he performed and helped with many live concerts, musicals, and projects. All while also being hired on as ensemble, principal roles, front man, sound assistant, grip, makeup, painting and set building for Moonlight Musicals, Horizon School of Arts, Lubbock Community Theater and other separate solo entities. During this, he graduated with his certificate in Commercial Music of two years.
A few of Chase’s favorite roles are Danny Zuko “Grease”, Scarecrow “Wizard of Oz”, and Pirate King “Pirates of Penzance”. He keeps adding to his rep as time and shows come along. Most recently after COVID, Chase had an absolute blast playing Jafar in “Descendants” and ensemble in “Sweeney Todd” and “Cinderella”.
Currently, Chase finds himself getting back into directing, starting with Horizon School of Arts’ “Guys and Dolls Jr.” as assistant director. He is so thrilled to be helping build such an amazing theater community and only has a burning passion to help those thrive around him. Since the age of 7, he still aspires to the best artist he can be, now pursuing show writing along with continuing his path in writing music.
MARY HOGAN is a Lubbock native and Lubbock Christian University graduate. Mary recently performed in The Wallace Theater's production of "Sweeney Todd." Mary has worked with Lubbock Moonlight Musicals both as a performer and scenic painter since 2016, her performances including "A Grand Night for Singing" and the Madrigal Dinner. She was proud to perform at the Organization of American Kodaly Educators national conference as a member of the women's ensemble The Sweet Peas. Mary has also performed in Culture Nerd’s improv roleplay group live streamed on multiple platforms. "
BLANCA DEL LOCO (SAINT APHRODIS/ CONGREGATION MEMBER) Blanca is very excited to be performing in “The Hunchback of Notre Dame'' with the Wallace Theater. A native of Shreveport,LA, she was involved in the huge arts community such as the Shreveport Opera, Shreveport Little Theatre, Stage Center, Louisiana Film Prize, and many more. In 2019, she relocated to Lubbock to attend Texas Tech University where she trained in Musical Theatre and Vocal Performance. Known for her warm mix and gorgeous classical soprano voice, Blanca's versatility is felt in every performance. Some recent credits includes the Lady in Red in the regional premiere of "For Colored Girls,”(ELAH) Mimi in “Guys and Dolls,”(Boxcar theatricals) Donkey in “Shrek,”(Stage Center) “West Side Story,”(Shreveport Opera) “St Matthew Passion,”( Shreveport Opera) and Carmen in "Carmen Jones” Blanca also enjoys a very healthy concert career and has performed in Long Beach,. CA, New York City, Marfa, TX, and Paris, France. Aside from performing, Blanca is also a Musical Theatre Historian, an independent recording artist, and activist for diversity in musical theatre. She is a member of the Ring of Keys organization located in NYC. This past summer she had the opportunity to train in Marfa Texas in the Marfa intensive with the Texas Tech school of theatre and dance and recently was accepted into the Open Jar Institute for Musical Theatre in NYC. She plans to move to NYC full time and pursue a career in professional musical theatre in the winter.
NATALEE SANCHEZ(Congregation Member) Natalee is so excited to be in her first production with The Wallace! Some of her favorite and most recent credits include Belle (Beauty and the Beast), Tibbs (The Unreturning), Evie (Descendants), Cinderella (Into the Woods jr.), and Matilda Blackwell (The Sweet Science of Bruising). Her dance credits include The Lubbock High School Gold Dust Pom Squad and Assistant Choreographer for both The Pajama Game and Beauty and the Beast. Natalee was also in the Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2019 as part of Spirit of America.
Not only is Natalee an active member onstage, but she has also tried her hand in technical theatre, such as makeup as seen in Little Shop of Horrors with Community Theatre, The Unreturning, and Chemical Imbalance at Lubbock High. She has also been a Historian for her Thespian Troupe, managing all of the theatre social media pages for Lubbock High School.
Natalee is a recent graduate of Lubbock High School. While at Lubbock high, she was an international qualifier for Thespians in the category Solo Musical her junior and senior year, had four honorable mentions for both roles Matilda Blackwell and Tibbs in her UIL One Act Play Competition, and along with Honorable Mention, Natalee and her team have won third place in state for two years in a row in the UIL One Act Play Competition. She will be attending Pace University in New York City this fall to continue her theatre journey as an Arts and Entertainment Management major. There, she hopes to become a producer for either film or Broadway. Natalee is very grateful to be joining The Wallace and hopes one day she can work with them again in the future. Natalee hopes you will enjoy this timeless tale as much as she does.
KENSLY PECK (Congregation) Kensly is thrilled to be back with the Wallace Theatre to join the ensemble of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.” She is a graduate from Lubbock Christian University with a degree in Biology, and a graduate from Wayland Baptist University with a Master’s in Educational Diagnostics. While in college, she fell in love with musical theatre with productions such as “The Boyfriend” and “Will Rogers Follies.” Currently, she is teaching science and theatre at Smyer High School. In her spare time, she serves as the President Elect of The Lubbock Chorale and the Vice President of LCU’s Friends of the Arts. Kensly has appeared in various productions in Levelland and Lubbock, including “Sweeney Todd,” “The Little Mermaid”, “Elf”, “Titanic”, “Grease”, “Little Shop of Horrors”, “Mamma Mia”, and “The Music Man.”
